Two citizens arrested in Oman for illegal hunting

Muscat: In cooperation with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the Environment Authority has arrested two citizens in Dhofar Governorate for hunting an Arabian deer.

A statement issued online by Environment Authority said: "The Environment Authority , represented by the General Directorate of the Environment in the Governorate of Dhofar, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, has arrested two citizens who hunted an Arabian deer as this act is a clear violation of the Natural Reserves and Wildlife Conservation Law. The legal procedures against them are being completed."
