NBC, Riyada incubated firms explore investment opportunities in Khazaen

Muscat: As part of the National Business Centre’s initiative 'Reyooq', a discussion session was held on Tuesday in the presence of NBC and Riyada incubated companies, and officials of South Al Batinah Logistics Area (Khazaen).
The event highlighted the vision, mission and investment opportunities available in Khazaen, which was founded to be a model for future cities, linking logistics with promising investment opportunities and creating a unique work and lifestyle environment.
Served by major transportation infrastructure such as the Batinah Expressway, Oman Rail, and the Muscat International Airport, Khazaen represents the ideal logistics, warehousing, light industrial and commercial hub linking the main modes of transportation in and out of Oman.
Khazaen aims to be the centre of the logistics movement in Oman showcasing a world-class urban plan, infrastructure and services, which motivates everyone to achieve their aspirations for the greater benefit of the society.
Officials at Khazaen highlighted its mission in developing a world-class urban plan with integrated infrastructure to support the four key sectors: logistics, industrial, commercial and residential; connecting Khazaen with the most densely populated areas of Oman and the main logistics centers such as the ports, airports, road and rail network; attracting local and international investments in the logistics sector and related sectors by providing incentives and privileges, flexibility and ease, and a distinctive strategic location locally, regionally and globally.
Besides, the mission of Khazaen also includes applying the highest international standards and practices in terms of sustainability to ensure care for environment, surrounding community and the development of the national economy; applying the policies and procedures that ensure the highest quality and efficiency of service standards in order to establish long-term relationships with investors, partners and customers; attracting qualified human resources that will be dedicated to the vision, and will create a stimulating work environment; and maximising the use of alternative energy and efficient energy utilisation
It should be noted that NBC’s initiative 'Reyooq' consists of monthly visits to high profile Omani companies and factories in cooperation with Riyada to meet with the CEOs and decision-makers of these companies.
The incubated companies at NBC shall get acquainted with various opportunities available for entrepreneurs.
NBC is an initiative launched by PEIE at the Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM) to offer promising Omani entrepreneurs a platform to develop their business ideas and advance them into growing ventures.
The centre offers a premier platform for Omani entrepreneurs by providing business development support and guidance, training and mentoring, access to markets and industry experts, and state-of-the-art and fully equipped office space, meeting rooms and presentation facilities.
