Seven aboard two damaged boats rescued in Oman

Muscat: Coast Guard police rescued passengers onboard two boats whose engines broke down while at sea.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said: "Coast Guard police boats responded to the distress calls of two Omani fishing boats in the governorates of Muscat and South Al Sharqiyah, with seven people on board, after the engines of their boats broke down at sea. They were towed to shore."
