Muscat: A delegation of Omani businessmen met the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Saad Hariri for talks.
The two parties discussed ways to develop bilateral and economic cooperation in different sectors.
The Omani delegation was headed by Qais Mohammed Al Yusuf, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI). In a statement, the OCCI said, "The Omani private sector is keen to strengthen economic relations with its Lebanese counterpart and take advantage of the growing relations in increasing trade and investment."
"Such visits open wider prospects for the private sector in both countries to establish economic partnerships," Al Yusuf added.
Hariri stressed the importance of these visits between the private sector of both countries as both countries would benefit from the growing bilateral relations between the Sultanate and the Lebanese Republic.
