Omani students safe, unaffected by California quake

No Omani students were affected by the earthquake that struck California on Friday, the Ministry of Higher Education revealed.
A 7.1 magnitude earthquake hit the city of Ridgecrest in California, US on July 5, 2019, at 8 pm, causing structural damage, fires, and some injuries.
"The cultural attaché in Washington, Dr. Talal Al Balochi, confirmed that the earthquake that hit the city of Ridgecrest in California is far from the cities where Omani students live or study." - The Ministry of Higher Education
Al Balushi said that there is no harm or injury for any Omani student, and they can communicate with them immediately after an accident.
