Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe to visit Oman in May

Muscat: World renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Ismail bin Musa Menk, the Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe, will be coming to the Sultanate this month.

He will be delivering a series of lectures on May 23 and 24, in Muscat.

On May 23, he will be delivering a lecture on ‘Insights into the Holy Quran’ at Ms. Fatima Bint Ali Mosque in Al Hail North after Asr prayers. Invitation is open to all but children are not allowed to attend.

The lecture on May 24 will take place at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) between 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. To attend the event at OCEC, people need to register at the given link: www.mara.gov.om/taarufreg.aspx.

Registration is open until Thursday, May 23, 2019.
