Omani man dies while hiking

An Omani man died after he fell off a mountain while hiking in Wilayat Saham, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance revealed.
Additional support from the Royal Oman Police's aviation division was needed to retrieve the body because of its location.
"The team from the Department of Civil Defence and Ambulance in Nothern Batinah responded to a report of a citizen who fell off a mountain in Wilayat Saham. Due to difficulty in reaching him, a helicopter from the Police aviation was used." - Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance
Officials added that the man was deceased at the time of recuse.
