Ministry receives 3,948 applications in 2018 third quarter

Muscat: The number of applications for trademarks, commercial licenses and trading agencies during the third quarter of 2018 reached to 3,948.
According to the statistics department of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the total number applications for trademarks, including those for patents industrial designs and copyright, received during the third quarter of 2018 reached to 2,175.
The number of commercial licenses, including those for trading, import and exhibitions during the same period was 1,504. The commercial agencies of all their types, licenses for the sale of petroleum products and professional licenses of all verities during the third quarter of the year 2018 reached to 269.
