Mwasalat taxi has announced that airport taxi fares will be reduced starting January 1, 2019.
The base fare will now be OMR 2.5 and 300 baisa for every km (from 1 km to 30 km), Sundays to Thursdays, 6 am to 10 pm.
The price has been reduced from OMR 3, and 400 baisa per km.
In the evenings, Sundays to Thursdays, 10 pm to 6 am, on weekends, and on public holidays, the base fare will begin at OMR3 and 400 baisa for every km, a drop from the old fare of OMR 3.6 and 450 baisa per km.
