Muscat: Muscat Electricity Distribution Co. (MEDC), a member of Nama Group, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP), presented a lecture on energy conservation.
The aim of the lecture was to raise awareness among its employees about the conservation of electricity in their residential properties, as well as their workplace. In fact, electricity conservation is considered one of the pillars of the optimal utilisation of energy resources, to ensure sustainability for future generations.
This is indicated through the identification of the rational use of suitable and energy-saving equipment, such as lighting, air conditioners and other electrical appliances, which benefits citizens and the country. These awareness lectures and their applications by individuals contribute primarily to reducing electricity bills and consolidating the concept of rationalisation of consumption at work and home.
MEDC pays great attention to energy efficiency and conservation, as well as promoting this culture among all participants through meetings, lectures and publications.
