Oman Refinery Company issues statement on fuel quality

Muscat: Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (Orpic), has reassured the public about the quality of fuel in the governorates of North Al-Batinah and Al-Buraimi.
The company released a statement after reports about poor quality of fuel in these governorates were circulated on social media.
In a statement online Orpic said, “Orpicgroup has observed a number of queries concerning fuel quality supplied to some fuel stations particularly in North Al-Batinah and Al-Buraimi governorates. Orpic is committed to supplying the local demand of fuel in Oman through its refineries in Mina Al Fahal and Sohar as well as its logistic network in Sohar, Al Jafnayn and Raysut.
“Orpic reassures the public that all its petroleum products are supplied to all marketing companies with the same quality as per the approved measures and specifications in the Sultanate of Oman,” the statement read.
