Oman's blood bank issues urgent call for donations

Muscat: Oman's Department of Blood Bank Services has announced an urgent call to donate blood to patients, from those with A and B negative blood types.
"An urgent need of blood transfusion today, many patients need at least 5 units of A and B negative," the department said in an announcement online, adding that donors could head to the Bausher blood bank between 8.00 am and 1.00 pm, and again from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
