Oman signs pact to take part in 2020 Dubai Expo

Dubai: An agreement for participation in the activities of the expo has been signed by Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, with the organising committee of 2020 Dubai Expo.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the participation of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the 2nd International Meeting for 2020 Dubai Expo Participants.
This makes the Sultanate the first GCC state to sign the agreement on participation in the 2020 Dubai Expo.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Sultanate by Mohsin bin Khamis Al Balushi, advisor at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Sultanate's Commissioner- General in 2020 Dubai Expo while on the side of the organising committee it was signed by Najib Mohammed Al Ali, Managing Director of the Organising Committee of 2020 Dubai Expo.
The Sultanate will take part in the event along with other 180 countries and regional and international organizations from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021.
