Slovak deputy prime minister in Oman to talk trade investment

Muscat: Peter Pellegrini, deputy prime minister for investment of the Slovak Republic arrived here on Saturday.
He is accompanied by a number of officials and businessmen on an official visit, during which the two sides will review ways of further enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries, mainly in the fields of economic and investment.
On their arrival, the guest and his delegation were received by Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry and a number of officials.
The guest would meet a number of officials and would visit Duqm Special Economic Zone to acquaint himself with the investment opportunities in the various spheres.
The visit aims to review aspects of cooperation in the fields of commerce, tourism, transport and communication.
It also aims to encourage establishment of joint investment projects and increase of volume of trade between the two countries.
