Muscat: Oman’s new gateway to the world will be officially opened today.

Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and to coincide with the Sultanate’s celebrations of the 48th Glorious National Day, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, will sponsor the celebrations organised by the Ministry of Transport.

The new terminal at the airport began operations on March 21, this year.
According to the National Centre for Statistics and Information, more than 12.5 million passengers passed through Muscat and Salalah Airports up to the end of September 2018.
