Sohar authorities seize 743 bottles of alcohol, tobacco products

Muscat: The Compliance and Risk Assessment Department in the Wilayat of Sohar has seized large quantities of alcoholic beverages found in two vehicles and at the residence of a citizen involved in their storage and sale.

Authorities reported that a total of 743 bottles of alcohol were confiscated during the operation, along with quantities of chewing tobacco products.

Legal actions have been initiated against the individual in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
