Al Faisal win New Year cricket tournament

Muscat: Al Faisal CT defeated Coastal CC by six wickets to clinch the title at the New Year Special Day/Night Cricket Tournament organised by Al Madha Club in Nizwa on January 1.
The tournament was organised with the support from Express Car Cleaning and Malik Altaf Tariq.
In the final of the tournament, which attracted 10 teams, Coastal CC after electing to bat first, scored 65 runs in eight overs.
Al Faisal successfully chased the target with six wickets and four balls to spare.
Earlier in the semifinals, Costal CC defeated Bisiya Lions by 55 runs and Al Faisal beat Behala XI by the same margin. Chief guests Malik Altaf Tariq, Syed Khalifa and Juma Al Obidani handed over the prizes.
