Muscat: Residents who will be arriving in the Sultanate from abroad can subject themselves to domestic quarantine.
An official from the airports sector speaking exclusively to the Times of Oman, said, "Residents only who will come to Oman need not stay in institutional quarantine. They can stay at their homes as part of domestic quarantine while taking precautionary measures.”
"The precautionary measures include isolating themselves in a separate room in the house, with a bathroom, not mixing with family members, adhering to safety and health procedures while eating and using tools and clothes,” he added.
He also confirmed that “residents arriving in the Sultanate shall be required to download and start the registration process on the Tarassud Plus application before arrival as well as pay an amount of OMR5 to obtain a tracking bracelet to wear during quarantine."
