Oman weather: Police warn motorists to be cautious in foggy conditions

Muscat: Motorists have been advised by Royal Oman Police (ROP) to drive cautiously as fog has enveloped in many parts of North and South Al Batinah today.
“Drive cautiously. Fog has enveloped many parts of North and South Al Batinah,” ROP tweeted on its official twitter handle.
Since last Wednesday, fog has disrupted traffic movement in northern parts of Oman.
A businessman in Sohar said that morning the visibility was too low.
“The visibility was too low. Driving in such conditions is quite difficult, so stayed back home,” Yousuf Salim, the businessman, added.
Even in UAE, the heavy fog has resulted in delay and diversion of many flights at its airports.
