Oman weather: Heavy fog disrupts traffic in Barka

Muscat: Heavy fog has enveloped Barka and surrounding areas disrupting traffic movement on Thursday night.
"It started around 7pm. By 10pm it became severe," Mohammed Iqbal, a businessman in Barka, said.
Oman meteorology has forcaast fog for a few more and hours.
"The horizontal visibility will low," the Oman metrology department added in its tweet.
According to the met department, majority of the areas in Al Batinah will be covered by fog.
Meanwhile, police authorities have warned motorists to drive safely.
On Wednesday, flight operations in UAE were disrupted due to heavy fog.
Many flights were diverted to Muscat.
