Alizz Islamic Bank opens branch in Athaiba

Muscat: Delivering a suite of sharia-compliant banking products and services to its growing customer-base across the Sultanate, Alizz Islamic Bank has expanded its operations by opening a new branch in Athaiba making it the fourth branch in the Muscat Governorate and seventh across Oman adding to the six existing branches which are already strategically located across the country.
The bank’s Athaiba branch is located on 18th November Street, opposite Costa Coffee and the Sultan Centre. Salim Al Sinawi, acting branch manager, will lead the daily operations in the branch. The state-of-the-art branch includes a branch manager’s office, assistant branch manager’s office, an interior ITM, three customer service representative desks, an exterior ATM and a conference room. It will be open from Sunday to Thursday, from 9 am until 1 pm, and from 2 pm until 5 pm.
The new branch officially opened on December 15, 2016 and includes retail banking services and dedicated relationship managers for Tharwa, Priority Banking customers.
The new Athaiba branch was officially launched under the patronage of Sheikh Muhana bin Saif bin Hamad Al Mawali, Wali of Bausher, in the presence of the banks chief operating officer the Salaam Al Shaksy and the banks chief operating officer Moosa Al Jadidi. The ceremony was also attended by senior officials of the Bank, prominent businessmen, as well as other dignitaries.
