Military Discipline Programme, hosted by Dhofar Governorate, set to begin

Muscat: The activities of the Military Discipline Programme, hosted by Dhofar Governorate, will begin on June 30 and continue until July 24 under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth and with the support of military and security agencies and other relevant government institutions.

The military training programme is supervised by the Royal Army of Oman, while the Royal Air Force of Oman provides air transportation for the trainee students, while a number of military, security and civil authorities activate the awareness and educational aspects and the comprehensive lecture programme that covers all relevant aspects.

The programme aims to support national values and enhance cultural, social and sporting patterns while embodying self-discipline and commitment in the individual, as well as refining and developing the personality of the Omani youth.

The implementation of the programme comes within the framework of the interest attached by the government of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, for the development of Omani youth, and in line with the directions of Oman Vision 2040.
