Foreign Minister receives phone call from Swedish counterpart

Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received a phone call from Tobias Billstrom, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden.

During the phone call, Sayyid Badr denounced the desecration of the Holy Qur’an in Sweden by some extremists.

Sayyid Badr also stressed the importance of ending incitement, hatred, violence or discrimination against beliefs.

The two ministers underlined the importance of promoting values of dialogue, tolerance and respect among nations and cultures.
