Muscat: Visitors to Khareef Dhofar this year, 2023, are expected to exceed one million, the Chairman of Dhofar Municipality said.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Mohsen Al Ghassani, the Chairman of Dhofar Municipality and Chairman of the Main Committee for the Dhofar Khareef Activities, said that expectations indicate that visitors to the Khareef Dhofar season for this year will exceed the barrier of one million visitors, with spending expected to exceed OMR 100 million.
This came during a press conference held by the Municipality today at Al-Baleed Salalah Resort managed by Anantara, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohsen Al-Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality, Chairman of the Main Committee for the Khareef Dhofar 2023 Events, Engineer Ammar bin Obed Ghawas, Director of Events and Awareness Department in Dhofar Municipality, and a number of officials and representatives of various media.
