Muscat: More than 110 expats were deported from the Sultanate of Oman during the month of May 2023 for violating the Labor Law.
The Ministry of Labor, represented by the Office of the Joint Inspection Team at the Directorate General of Labor in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, conducted inspection campaigns on 294 establishments in the governorate during the period May 1-31, 2023, and 114 workers were arrested in Violation of the provisions of the Labor Law. Legal actions are being taken against the violators.
According to the Ministry, 112 violating workers were deported from the Sultanate of Oman during the same period.
