Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has arrested 11 expatriates for violating the Labour Law in Muscat Governorate.
The Ministry said in a statement: "The Ministry of Labour, represented by the Directorate General of Labour Welfare, the joint inspection team, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, conducted an inspection campaign in Muscat Governorate for private residential homes in which unlicensed businesses are practiced. 11 workers have been arrested in violation of the provisions of the Labour Law."
In addition, the Ministry said that the work is underway to take legal measures.
