Muscat: Coast Guard police boats managed to arrest 16 expats on board boats in Musandam and Dhofar Governorate, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
Royal Oman Police said: “Coast Guard police boats led by Musandam Governorate police seized a boat carrying 7 infiltrators of Asian nationality.”
In another case, the Coast Guard Police, led by Dhofar Governorate Police, seized 9 people of Arab nationality on board two boats at sea, in possession of a large quantity of the drug khat.
ROP added that the legal procedures against the accused are being completed.
2 expats arrested for theft
In another incident, North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Muscat Governorate Police Command, managed to arrest two people of Asian nationality on charges of stealing several expensive phones. The legal procedures against them have been completed.
