Muscat: Wilayat of Qurayat experiences unpredicted rainfall while the rest of Oman is burning in high temperature that shot up above 44 degree Celsius in most parts.
It rained moderately on Monday afternoon in Qurayat of Muscat Governorate.
The Sultanate is currently experiencing high temperatures, especially in the governorates of North and South Al Batinah. It has been alerted by the Civil Aviation Authority, ( CAA ) that the residents should refrain from being exposed to direct sunlight during noon hours, especially in the governorates of North and South Al Batinah.
Wilayat of Suwaiq in North Al Batinah recorded the highest temperature of 45 degree Celsius among the other Wilayats of Oman on Sunday. While on Monday, the Wilayat of Sohar in North Al Batinah Governorate has receded the highest temperature in Oman by 48 Celsius degree.
