Muscat: Sporadic rain is expected in the Al Hajar Mountains and some wilayats of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, with chances of more rainfall today, Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Oman Meteorology said that the weather, today, will be generally clear in most of the governorates, with chances of clouds and scattered rain in the Hajar Mountains.

It also confirmed that the aerial image shows the formation of cumulus clouds over parts of the Hajar Mountains (Al Dakhiliyah Governorate), with chances of expansion, and sporadic rains later.

Oman Meteorology also highlighted opportunities for low clouds or fog to form at the end of the night or early morning over parts of the governorates of Al Dhahirah, Al Sharqiyah South, Al Wusta, the coastal strip of Dhofar Governorate, the western coast of Musandam Governorate, and parts of the coasts of the Sea of Oman.

The temperature in the Wilayat of Seeb is 26/32, and 25/41 the Wilayat of Salalah. The highest expected temperature today is 41 degrees Celsius in the Wilayat of Salalah, and the lowest is 11 degrees Celsius in Jabal Shams.
