Muscat: The weather is expected to be clear in the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, with the highest temperatures in the wilayats of Al Amerat, Sur and Suwaiq, said Oman Meteorology on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
The statement by Oman Meteorology pointed out that there are opportunities for the formation of low clouds or fog at the end of the night or early Thursday morning on parts of the coasts of the Sea of Oman and the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta and of the coastal strip of the Dhofar Governorate.
It also said that there are opportunities for the formation of cumulus clouds on the Hajar Mountains, and the possibility of dust storms over desert and open areas.
The maximum and minimum temperatures respectively are expected to be- Wilayat of Seeb 39 degree Celsius 29 and in the Wilayat of Salalah 32 and 26. The highest expected temperature today is 43 in Al Amerat, Suwaiq and Sur, and the lowest is 18 degrees in Al Jabal Al Akhdar.
