Muscat: The effects of the depression that lasted over the Sultanate of Oman has ended, which may result in a noticeable drop in temperatures in all the wilayats and governorates, said Oman Meteorology.
An official from the meteorology confirmed to Times of Oman that the weather condition of the depression over the Oman has completely ended, with the flow of clouds over the Sea of Oman, adjacent to the coastal areas, especially the wilayats of North Al Batinah Governorate, without the possibility of rain.
The official added that there is a possibility of light rain in Muscat Governorate between 7 and 10 pm today, Wednesday January 18, 2023.
The official also confirmed that active dry north western winds will blow over all governorates and wilayats of the Sultanate of Oman, from Musandam Governorate to Dhofar Governorate and the interior governorates, leading to a noticeable decrease in minimum temperatures, which will reach its peak in the next 24 hours.
