Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik conferred the Royal Commendation Medal of the Second Class on a number of Omani personalities in appreciation of their outstanding contributions in several fields. The medal was handed over by Sayyid Khalid Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court.
The eminent persons who have been honoured are:
Sheikh Hamoud bin Hamid bin Hamad Al-Sawafi - in the field of civil initiatives and social responsibility,
Honourable Maryam bint Issa Al Zadjali- in the field of civil initiatives and social responsibility.
Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Hamad bin Suwaid Al-Badi - in the field of scientific research, innovation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Professor Dr. Samir bin Hamad bin Nasser Al-Adawi - in the field of scientific research, innovation and the fourth industrial revolution.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Salem Al-Mukhaini - in the field of civil initiatives and social responsibility.
Mr. Shawqi bin Abdul Reda Sultan - in the field of (digital) economy and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Salem bin Sultan bin Salem Al-Ruzaiqi - in the field of (digital) economy and entrepreneurship.
Mr. Majid bin Fail bin Salem Al Ameri - in the field of (digital) economy and entrepreneurship.
Mr. Adnan bin Ahmed bin Hamad Al Shuaili - in the field of (digital) economy and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Saif bin Salem bin Saif Al-Abri - in the health field.
Dr. Ali bin Mahad bin Muslim Al-Ma’ashani - in the health field
Ms. Sumaya bint Saeed bin Suleiman Al-Siyabiya - in the field of environment and natural resources.
Congratulating the awarded personalities, the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court said that awarding these medals is an appreciation from His Majesty for the efforts made in various fields, and a motive for them to work more for greater achievements. He wished all of them success in their scientific and practical efforts for doing their work and community service to this dear country, and to its leader, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
