Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik conferred the Royal Commendation Medal of the Second Class on a number of Omani personalities in appreciation of their outstanding contributions in several fields. The medal was handed over by Sayyid Khalid Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court.

Congratulating the awarded personalities, the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court said that awarding these medals is an appreciation from His Majesty for the efforts made in various fields, and a motive for them to work more for greater achievements. He wished all of them success in their scientific and practical efforts for doing their work and community service to this dear country, and to its leader, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
