Minsk: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of healthcare in Minsk, the Belarusian capital on Wednesday. The agreement was signed by Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, and Alexander Khodzhayev, Belarus’ Minister of Health.
The MoU outlines cooperation in several medical fields, including healthcare services, medical education, personnel training, and joint professional development initiatives. It also facilitates the exchange of expertise, collaborative medical research, mutual access to pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, reciprocal training programs, and expert visits.
In a related development, Dr. Al Sabti visited the headquarters of Minskintercaps, a member company of the Belpharmprom Group, where he was briefed on Belarus’ healthcare system, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and the company’s medical and pharmaceutical operations.
