Muscat: Electricity service has been fully restored in the South Al Batinah Governorate, after it was damaged by the heavy rains.
The basic services sector said that 95 percent of asphalt roads were restored in the Governorate of South Al Batinah, in the Governorate of North Al Batinah 98 percent, and in the Governorate of Musandam 99 percent.
The basic services sector confirms the complete restoration of electricity service in the Governorate of South Al Batinah and waste management service by 95 percent, water and sewage services by 99 percent. The service of 17 telecommunication stations has been restored out of a total of 29 stations affected by the weather condition, and work is underway to restore service in 12 stations.
