Attempt to smuggle diesel foiled in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has foiled an attempt to smuggle diesel fuel by two expatriates in Al Buraimi Governorate.

"Al Buraimi Governorate Police Command thwarted an attempt to smuggle quantities of diesel fuel by two expatriates in two trucks that were equipped with additional tanks. The legal procedures are being completed against them," ROP said in a statement.
