17 foreigners arrested for attempting to enter illegally into Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested 17 foreigners trying to enter the Sultanate of Oman illegally.

"Coast Guard police boats in North Al Batinah Governorate have arrested 17 people of Asian nationalities on board two smuggling boats off the coast of North Al Batinah Governorate. The legal procedures are being completed against them," ROP said in a statement.
