Citizen falls into well, rescued in South Al Sharqiyah

Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has rescued a citizen who fell into a well in the Wilayat of Sur.

"Rescue teams in the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate were able to rescue a citizen after he fell into a well in the Taima area in the Wilayat of Sur. Emergency medical care was provided to him, and was later transferred to the hospital with moderate injury," CDAA said in a statement.

The authority calls on citizens and residents to take precautions and to deal professionally while maintaining wells in order to preserve the safety of all.
