Sohar Hospital succeeds in performing first arthroscopic shoulder operation

Muscat: Sohar Hospital in North Al Batinah Governorate has performed successfully the first arthroscopic operation for the shoulder.

"A medical team at Sohar Hospital headed by Dr. Hilal Al Hosani, Orthopaedic Surgeon, succeeded in performing the first arthroscopic operation for the shoulder in the hospital. The operation was performed on a patient suffering from frozen shoulder joint who did not respond to conservative treatments," the Directorate General of Health Services in North Al Batinah Governorate said in a statement.
