Pesticide spraying operations intensified across Muscat

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has intensified the spraying of pesticides to combat the Aedes aegypti mosquito in the Governorate of Muscat.

Muscat Municipality said: “In cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Muscat Municipality is intensifying the spraying of pesticides to combat the Aedes aegypti mosquito in a number of targeted areas in the Governorate of Muscat.”

Aedes aegypti, the yellow fever mosquito, is a mosquito that can spread dengue fever and other disease agents.
