Artisanal fishing vessels seized in Oman

Muscat: The fisheries control team seized a number of artisanal fishing vessels with expired licences.

The General Directorate of Agriculture Fisheries and Water Resources said: "The fisheries control team carried out an inspection campaign on artisanal fishing vessels to check the equipment and safety tools used on these vessels, as well as to ensure the existence and validity of licences. A number of expired licences were seized."
