Electricity back in some parts of Oman

Muscat: Mazoon Electricity Company (MZEC) has announced the restoration of 100 per cent power supply in high voltage lines located in Wilayat of Barka, South Al Batinah Governorate.

"Electricity service has been restored in some areas affected by the climatic conditions Shaheen in Musannah in South Al Batinah Governorate and Suwaiq in North Al Batinah Governorate," saidNational Centre for Emergency Management (NCEM).

"Complete power supply has been restored in high voltage lines located in Wilayat of Barka in the South Al Batinah Governorate. Work is underway to restore the same in low voltage areas as well," Mazoon Electricity Company said in a statement.
