Tropical depression developing over the Arabian Sea

Muscat: A tropical depression has been monitored in the Arabian Sea, Oman Meteorology said on Thursday.

"We have monitored a tropical depression in the northeast of the Arabian Sea, where the wind speed is ranging between 17 and 27 knots around the centre and is moving northwest along the Indian coasts," Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
