Tropical depression in Arabian Sea expected to turn into storm

Muscat: The deep tropical depression is expected to develop into a storm within 24 hours.

According to the last update issued by Oman Meteorology, clouds associated with the tropical depression is 1250 km away from the coast of the Sultanate.

The Oman Meteorology said, "The tropical situation in the Arabian Sea has developed to a deep tropical depression, with the ability to deepen into a tropical storm within the next 24 hours."

The centre of the law depression is 1680 km from the coast of the Sultanate, and wind speeds around the centre is between 28 to 33 knots in a direction north/northwest.
