Three reports of workers' rights violations registerd in September

Muscat: The General Federation of Oman Workers (GFOW), has registered three reports of workers' rights violations during the period between September 5- 16, 2021.

According to the federation, reports included violations like deduction of wages, forcing workers to go on unpaid leave, deduction of leaves during quarantine periods and notifications of termination of service.

GFoW added that 21 settlement records and collective work agreements through meetings of work teams in the governorates, which are tasked with following up and reviewing the decisions of the national workforce who terminated their services from work, during the period from September 5 to 16, 2021.
