Four workers' rights violations registered in Oman

Muscat: Four reports of workers' rights violation have been recorded by the General Federation of Oman Workers (GFoW) from August 8 to August 12, 2021.

According to the federation, reports included violations like deduction of wages, forcing workers to go on unpaid leave, deduction of leaves during the quarantine period and notice of termination of services.

 "After meetings of work teams in the governorates, the GFoW added that there are a total of four settlement records and collective work agreements. Officials are assigned to follow up and review workforces whose services were terminated for the period from August 8 to August 12, 2021," added the statement.
