Royal Air Force of Oman carries out medical evacuation

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation of a citizen from Masirah Hospital to Sur Hospital in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

A statement issued by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "On Monday, one of the helicopters of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation of a citizen suffering from a critical health condition, and she was transferred from Masirah Hospital to Sur Hospital in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate to receive the necessary specialised treatment."

"This comes within the framework of humanitarian services and national efforts provided by the Sultan's Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defence to citizens and residents along with the rest of the other governmental institutions," added the statement.
