Muscat: A medical evacuation operation has been conducted by the Royal Air Force of Oman for a citizen who was suffering from a critical health condition. He was transferred from Musandam Governorate to Muscat Governorate.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said : "One of the helicopters of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation operation for a citizen whose critical health condition required him to be transferred from Dibba Hospital in Musandam Governorate to Khawla Hospital in Muscat Governorate to receive the necessary treatment."
"This comes within the framework of the national services and humanitarian efforts provided by the Ministry of Defence and the Sultan's Armed Forces to citizens and residents of the homeland along with the rest of the other government institutions," the statement added.
