Royal Air Force of Oman airlifts critically ill citizen to hospital

Muscat: A medical evacuation operation has been conducted by the Royal Air Force of Oman for a citizen who was suffering from a critical health condition in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

The Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement: "A helicopter of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation of a critically ill citizen. He was transferred from Masirah Hospital to Sur Hospital in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate to receive the necessary specialised treatment."

 "This comes within the framework of humanitarian services and national efforts provided by the Sultan's Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defence to citizens and residents on the homeland along with other government institutions," the ONA added.
