Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman has carried out a medical evacuation of a citizen who was suffering from a critical health condition. She was transferred from Khasab Hospital in Musandam Governorate to Sohar Hospital in North Al Batinah Governorate.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "One of the helicopters of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation of a citizen whose critical condition required her to be transferred from Khasab Hospital to Sohar Hospital to receive the necessary specialised treatment."
"This comes within the framework of the national efforts and humanitarian services provided by the Sultan's Armed Forces and other departments in the Ministry of Defence to citizens and residents of the dear homeland along with other government institutions in the country," the statement added.
