Earthquake with magnitude 4.5 recorded in Southern Iran

Muscat: An earthquake has been reported in Southern Iran on Monday, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC), at the Sultan Qaboos University.

A statement issued online by the EMC said: "An earthquake in Southern Iran with magnitude of 4.5, at 1:32 pm MCT and at a depth of 10 km has been recorded. The earthquake was recorded 224 km away from Khasab."
